V week with Vegetable Soup and Volcanoes

 On Friday some of us bought cut up vegetables to school. We guessed what the vegetables were and added them to a big pot. Then we peeled some veges, Mrs Ward chopped them and they went into the pot too. There was a huge pot full. We loved the smell of our soup cooking and enjoyed a cup of deliciousness during lunch time. Some of us had 2 or 3 helpings! We had enough to share our soup with our big buddies and Room 18.

We enjoyed learning all about volcanoes this week. While our soup was cooking, we did an experiment to test which type of vinegar would make the best mock volcano. We found the brown vinegar reacted more quickly and the while vinegar reacted for longer.
