Making letter W wolves and....
..... finding ways to make the letter w with our bodies.
This week was maths week. Our big buddies took us on the maths trail around the school. Such good fun and solving maths problems at the same time.
This week was also W week. We made and drew windmills. On Friday we made wiggly worms out of tissue paper.
We have been learning about the body and body systems. This week we looked at skeletons.
Where on the skeleton would we find this part of the body?
We have been learning about halves and quarters. We can find them in all sorts of places- even in our lunch boxes! We discoverd that it is quite hard to cut shapes into fractions because all the pieces in a fraction have to be the same size.
