Frogs, Frogs, Frogs (for F week)

We have been learning about different kinds of feelings during our E Tū Tangata lessons. We made these fingerprint frogs that have lots of different feelings.

We are busy making Milo's friend, Felix, complete with fish and flippers, for our phonics scrapbooks.

P week with Magnets

Here are our pirate pictures - our lucky pirates have found treasure!

We danced to a wonderful song about a purple people eater. Everyone got a purple piece of Paper and a black Pen to make our versions of this crazy creature.

Our science topic this term is magnets. We had lots of fun discovering which things would be attracted and which things wouldn't.

Week 5 - Already!

Our term is disappearing very quickly. We have made heaps of progress and are becoming self managing learners.

Look at us in action making Ally Alligator, our Milo Monkey friend for A week.

We learned about a very big bird - the albatross. We watched the live cam of the colony at Taiaroa Head in Dunedin and measured out the size of an albatross on the concrete.

We are becoming experts at making arrows - they are quite tricky but we kept trying and drew arrows pointing different ways.
