Making and Painting

 We made kites for k week. We looked at the weather forecast to decide on the best day to make and fly the kites. Unfortunately, the predicted wind never arrived. We had fun trying to fly them anyway!

It was great fun learning about keas and how naughty they are. We drew keas and then used water colours to paint them. 

Cricket and Colour Fun Run

 Anyone would think it was c week.

J is for jellyfish

We learned two new art techniques this week

First  we painted the jellyfish body using water colours....

 

.... and then we used eye droppers to drip dye and let it run down the page to create the tentacles.

Umbrellas

 What a way to send off winter.... we loved making these colourful umbrellas for U week.
