Volcanoes and Vegetables in V week.

We invited Room 18 to join us while we made volcanoes with vinegar and baking soda. We experimented to see which type of vinegar made the best volcano. We had to make sure our experiment was fair by measuring carefully to find out the answer. We found that brown (malt) vinegar is best.

We read stories about vegetables and thought about our favourite veges in the different colour groups. We know eating a variety of vegetables keeps us healthy. In this photo we are taking truns to sort all these yummy things into fruit and vegetable groups.

We are learning about counting in 2s. We used pairs of shoes to help us count.

Duck, Duck Goose

We have been practising our observational skills. We looked closely at videos of ducks and geese to find out how they are similar and how they are different.

Then we had a game of duck, duck, goose. We will be playing again as it was such fun.

Our new class member, Roy, is very fast!
