Bubbles and Beebots

 This week was b week. We made symmetrical butterfiles, watched a video about baby bears, blew bubbles and.....

...we learned how to give forward commands to the beebots. We had to use trial and error to find out how many forward moves we needed to get the beebot over to our partner.

Look carefully, you will see our two new classmembers, Nevaeh and Archie.

An exciting week

 Happy Mothers' Day to all our wonderful Room 19 Mums.

We had great fun making these cards, stamping the flowers with balloons.

The New Zealand playhouse came to visit us with a treasure island story. We loved the light sabre fight scene...

We welcomed Gagan to our class. We love making new friends.

 We looked at more nocturnal animals and used a new tool in Seesaw to make a night picture.

We also made noodle necklaces using needles. We got very good at threading and patterning.

This week was cross country week - it was such a great race and we were able to put into practice the skills of setting an appropriate pace and presevering to run the whole course.
